Connecting with Our Community: A Heartfelt Thank You to St. Norbert - Seine River
Location: Neighborhoods across St. Norbert - Seine River
Candidate: Anita Roy for City Council
Focus: Grassroots Engagement, Active Listening, Community Building
"Grateful for the opportunity to visit and connect with the community."
There is no substitute for showing up. Over the past few weeks, I’ve had the incredible privilege of walking our streets, knocking on doors and sitting down with the people who make St. Norbert - Seine River such a vibrant and welcoming place to call home.
Listening to the Voices of Our Ward
Running for City Council isn’t just about sharing my vision; it’s about listening to yours. Every conversation we have-whether it's on your front porch, at a local coffee shop, or during a neighborhood walk-helps shape my platform and my understanding of what our community truly needs.
From local infrastructure and transit concerns to supporting our small businesses and keeping our neighborhoods safe, your insights are invaluable. I am deeply grateful to everyone who has taken the time out of their busy day to open their door, share a story and discuss the future of our city with me.
A Campaign Built on Connection
True representation starts at the grassroots level. My commitment to you is that I will always prioritize face-to-face connection and active listening. A strong City Council requires leaders who are accessible, empathetic, and deeply rooted in the communities they serve.
Thank you for your warm welcomes, your honest feedback, and your continued support. If I haven't made it to your street yet, I look forward to meeting you soon! Together, we are building a stronger, more connected St. Norbert - Seine River.
