Great things happen when community leaders come together. It was a wonderful opportunity to sit down over tea with Jennifer Chen, MLA for Fort Richmond , to discuss the shared priorities and bright future of our South Winnipeg neighborhoods.
Bridging Municipal and Provincial Goals
While St. Norbert - Seine River and Fort Richmond are distinct areas, our communities share borders, local economies, and everyday challenges. As your candidate for City Council, I know that effective municipal leadership doesn't happen in a vacuum. To truly deliver for our residents, we need strong, cooperative relationships with our provincial counterparts.
During our conversation, MLA Chen and I discussed several key issues that impact families across South Winnipeg, including:
