Leading with Heart: Walking with Humility, Kindness & Love
Location: Neighbourhoods across St. Norbert - Seine River
Candidate: Anita Roy for City Councillor
Focus: Compassionate Leadership, Community Unity, Core Values
"Walking with Humility, Kindness & Love. Together, we build a stronger Winnipeg."
Politics shouldn’t be about ego or division; it should be about service. Every time I step out into our neighbourhoods, knock on a door, or attend a community event, I carry three core values with me: Humility, Kindness and Love.
What These Values Mean for Our Ward
As your candidate for City Councillor, I believe that how we lead is just as important as what we achieve.
- Humility means knowing that I don’t have all the answers, which is why I am always listening to your ideas and lived experiences.
- Kindness means ensuring that our city policies treat every resident-especially our most vulnerable, our seniors, and our newcomers-with dignity and respect.
- Love means having a deep, unwavering dedication to the future of St. Norbert - Seine River and the families who call it home.
Building a Stronger Winnipeg, Together
A city is only as strong as the connections between its people. When we approach our community challenges with empathy and an open heart, we find solutions that actually work. We bridge divides, we support our neighbours and we create a ward where everyone feels they truly belong.
Thank you to everyone who has welcomed me into your homes, shared your stories, and walked this journey with me. Together, with humility, kindness and love, we are building a stronger, more united Winnipeg.
